no way casillas is 3rd! hes been extremly bad thesr days, ie the Arco Reus goal he should have save bt didnt, n there r plenty of where tht came frm! clearly Kahn should have been at LEAST at no 3! the guy who single handed put Germany into the final in world cup, n we all knew they were prob the team should have gone home pretty early. just cos casillas won world cup doesnt mean he is the best goalkeeper, its more to do with the 4 in front of him, so hes nothing compared to Kahn! if Spain were as bad as the 02 german team, wouldnt have won anything!p

Buffon deserves to be ranked higher, no way Casillas should be #3, Van Der Sar was a great keeper but hardly top ten material.

why lev yashin 1st no way?
ronaldo   October 27, 2012 at 4:18 pm
Whoever says that cassilas deserves number one and now nothing about lev yashin is a complete amateur of football. Cassilas is an exceptional goalkeeper, yes, but lev yashin is the best EVER in the football history. He was known as 'the black spider' named after his responsive speed on blocking shot, creating illusions of having 8 hands in black suits. There is even an award of best keeper ever named after him, Yashin Award. Gordon Banks is absolutely deserve the number 2 as his extraordinary goalkeeping records. Almunia is a joke, I questioned if it is a troll telling that he should be in list? Victor Valdes is way better than Almunia and yet he is another joke compared to these top 10 list. I admit that this top 10 goalkeeper list is the most objective list among the rest top 10 list in this site. My only complaint is Buffon and Oliver Kahn should be on number 4 and 5, and Petr Cech should replace van der Sar
